Sienna Jetha was the best finisher for England at the Euro Mini Championships in France as she ended up in 13th position.
Jetha was one of six English youngsters playing in two age groups at the event, which was being held for the first time since 2019 because of the pandemic.
She battled through three group stages in the Girls’ 2009 category to reach the last 32, where she defeated Diana Koliennokova of Ukraine 3-0 (11-5, 11-5, 11-3).
She was beaten in the last 16 by Alexia Nodin of French region Auvergne-Rhone Alpes, but two victories in her next three matches in the positional play-offs saw her end in 13th.
