Under 11 Mixed

Our youngest competitors took part in a double round robin and the title was taken in the afternoon by Ayansh Pahwa, who took advantage of the late withdrawal of top seed Sanav Sethi. The tile was decided with a tight 3-2 win over Charlie Zeng who took the silver. Rian Pacheriwala took the Bronze.

Under 13 Boys

The Under 13 Boys Open went according to the seeding with Dominic Rimmy taking the title with a tough 3-2 win over a determined Noah Clarke. Noah had reached the Final by beating Daniyal Janmohamed in another 5 set match. Dominic had a more straightforward win over Lucas Marks in the other Semi-final.

Under 15 Girls

The Under 15 Girls event proved to be a running battle between 4th Seed Adhuna Das and 1st Seed, Serene Rahmani-Wlentynska.

They met twice on the day. Their first meeting in the qualifying round ended with a convincing 3-1 win for Das. They met again in the final after Das beat Ruby Gandi Bamidele, and Rahmani-Walentynski beat clubmate Alexia Ciobanica in the Semis.

For the first two sets it looked like a reapt of the group match with Adhuna racing into a well deserved 2 sets lead. But with her back to the wall, Serene dug deep and slowly turned the match around to take the title with a 3-2 win.

In the consolation event, Maisey Phillips beat Joyce He in the final to take the gold.

Under 15 boys

Like the Under 13 Boys, the Under 15s also finished with a final between the top two seeds. Benjamin Willis beat Zacharia Sarri in the final to take the gold. Caleb Tsang and Mikul Patel took the bronze medals.

Under 17 Girls

Due to a large number of late withdrawals just before the tournament began, the Under 17 Girls event was reduced to a single group of 8 players.

It has been a while since Soraya Rahmani-Walentynska has played in any of her home tournaments, and she was determined to take the top spot on the day, which she did with a clean sweep of the entire group.

Alexia Ciobanica took silver while upset the seeding with a 3-2 win over Soraya's sister Serene. Regular visitor Isabelly Lorrana took fourth space.

Under 17 Boys

Newcomer Ian Lai was the pick of the bunch in the Under 17 Boys, taking the title with a 3-0 win over Woodford Well's Dhruv Datta. Lai struggled in the Semi-Finals, having. to come from 2 sets behind to beat Greenhouse's Parsia Ashani. Datta reached the final with a 3-0 win over his club mate, Louis Green.

Under 19 Boys

Ashford's Anhadvir Singh gave himself the opportunity to take the title by beating top seed Sora Ikazaki 3-2 in the Semi finals. In the final he faced eBaTT's Ali Ghaffari and took the gold with a 3-1 victory.

Ghaffari reached the final with a tough 5 set win over 3rd seed Owenxander Ballad.

The Outreach Championship tournaments are designed to allow every player to take part in a meaningful competition at their own level. Last year we awarded gold, silver and bronze medals to players in 44 separate competitions, with competitors ranging from beginners to some of the the best juniors in England.

Every single match win counts towards each player’s points total and we also award points for participation/attendance.

Online entries must be completed by 6:00pm, Tuesday 31st March.

Every year we award 2 championship trophies to players in our S-Tier and A-Tier competitions.

Practice / Registration starts at 9:00am. Competition start time is 10:00am and will finish around 4:00pm.

Players must wear sports clothing (T-shirt & shorts or tracksuit bottoms) on the day. No WHITE or LIGHT COLOURED T-shirts are allowed.

Your child will need a packed lunch/drinks. Parents are welcome to come along to watch/support their child while taking part in the competition.

London Academy continued our winning tradition with an outstanding performance, bringing home five titles across the event — a fantastic achievement to be proud of.

Outstanding Team Success

London Academy matched our achievement from last year by winning in multiple age groups, securing titles in Under 11 boys and girls, Under 13 girls, and Under 16 boys and girls.

Under 11 Girls’ Team – Rea Kola, Aicha Moutaquime, Sara Maslina, Sophia Shokoodieh, and Darcey Parker fought back strongly in the final and lifted the trophy with some brilliant play.

Under 11 Boys’ Team – Lead by Dominic Rimmy, David Luca Dobrita, David Cuirea and Kiasha Beheshti delivered excellent teamwork to secure the top spot in their category.

Under 16 Girls’ Team – Another big win for Soraya Rahmani Walentynska, Assil Sarri and Naomi Adjei as our U16 girls’ squad delivered with confident and composed performances throughout the day.

Under 16 Boys’ Team – Our U16 boys squad of Adam Raidi, Lewis Macsween, Connor Godley, Yacoub Rahmani Walentynski and Stefan Pop, were unstoppable, winning the title with a series of dominant performances.

Under 13 Girls’ Team – Despite a highly competitive group, Serene Rahmani Walentynska, Ruby Gandi Bamidele and Alexia Ciobanica came out on top to complete a brilliant set of wins.

What a Day!

Our players represented London Academy with great skill, spirit and teamwork. The atmosphere was
exciting, and the determination shown by all squads was impressive — not just in the finals but throughout the whole competition.

This success also reflects the hard work of our coaches and the supportive environment here at London
Academy. Thank you to all the families and supporters who came along and cheered our teams on!
